Below you will find some of the most common questions asked about Vitalert.

Have further questions? Contact us today and we will be happy to address your inquiry.

Q. How do I take Vitalert?

A. There are two recommended ways to take Vitalert daily:
Method 1: Take all four tablets together with your first meal or second meal of the day
Method 2: Take two tablets with your first meal, and two tablets with your second meal.
Both methods are effective, and your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Q. Why take four tablets?

A. In addition to providing more vitamins, minerals and electolytes than any other leading multivitamin, Vitalert contains a variety of natural herbs which are most effective when consumed daily in the quantities present in the Vitalert formulA. With so many beneficial ingredients, the Vitalert formula is easier to swallow when it is spread over four tablets rather than one or two large tablets.

Q. How many calories does Vitalert contain?

A. Vitalert contains less than .625 calories per tablet, or about 2.5 calories total per four tablets.

Q. After taking Vitalert, I've noticed, at times, my urine is bright yellow. Is this normal?

A. Among the "B Complex" vitamins in Vitalert is Riboflavin (Vitamin B-2). Riboflavin is naturally yellow in color and water soluble. Riboflavin is what makes the urine bright yellow. This is harmless, but can be puzzling if you don't know the cause. Foods naturally high in Riboflavin include yeast, liver, cheddar cheese, American cheese, veal, eggs, pork, and turnip greens.

Q. The label states No added caffeine-Does Vitalert contain any caffeine?

A. Vitalert contains the herb, guarana, whose active ingredient, "guaranine," is similar to caffeine. The amount in a Vitalert tablet is equivalent to 7-8 mg of caffeine. By comparison, a 12-oz cola beverage contains around 45 mg of caffeine, while an 8 oz cup of coffee contains from 90-140 mg of caffeine.

Q. I have allergies, can I take Vitalert?

A. Certain individuals who are hypersensitive to bee-related products may react to the bee pollen present in Vitalert. This is the only known allergenic source in Vitalert. However, if you are unsure, we suggest consulting your medical practitioner.

Q. I take other medications, can I take Vitalert?

A. Vitamin K, needed for normal blood clotting, may interfere with anti-coagulant drugs such as Coumadin (Warfarin sodium). It is always advisable to consult your physician before taking any nutritional supplement. This is particularly important for pregnant and lactating women, or if you are already under a doctor's care for a medical condition.

Q. When will I feel the difference?

A. While many people feel a difference in their energy level within a couple hours of taking Vitalert, others will notice benefits after a few days of consistent daily use.
