Q. What is the difference
between "ImmuMax" and "ImmuniMax?"
A. They are one and the same–the name has been changed to "ImmuniMax" to
better identify the product with immune system support.
Q. What do I take ImmuniMax for?
A. ImmuniMax may be taken as a dietary supplement to promote optimal health.
Q. How do I take ImmuniMax?
A. Research on Echinacea suggests that maximum benefit
comes within several days after taking the initial dose.* As such,
take one or two tablets a day with a full glass of water, preferably
after a meal. As with any herbal supplement, it is best to start
with a lower dosage, to rule out sensitivity to any of the herbal
ingredients.
Q. Is it safe to take ImmuniMax every day?
A. While the natural ingredients in ImmuniMax are
recognized as safe, it is always advisable to consult your health
care practitioner before taking ImmuniMax or any other dietary
supplement. A conservative approach would be to take ImmuniMax for
not more than eight weeks at a time, on an as-needed basis.
Q. Who shouldn't take ImmuniMax?
A. Pregnant or lactating women. Persons allergic
to members of the sunflower family may react to the Echinacea
in ImmuniMax. Echinacea, may interfere with the actions of drugs
that are designed to suppress the immune system, such as corticosteroids
and cyclosporine. Berberine-containing herbs, such as Goldenseal
and Goldthread, may interfere with Tetracycline.
Q. Is it all right to give ImmuniMax to my child?
A. At present, there is virtually no research on
the affects of herbal remedies on children. While ImmuniMax
is not intended for persons under 18 years of age, it may be acceptable
to give your (school age) child a reduced dosage (1/3-1/2 the
adult dosage), however, it is always advisable to first consult
your health care practitioner.
